I prefer raw honey in general at any given time. I was a little iffy as I can be a little picky with my honey. I will admit that this was a very sweet but not overwhelmingly so honey. I have only used it on a few dishes but it has been very very good. It's been holding up well as far as storage goes which is saying something in our part of the world where the weather changes a lot and it's hard to keep things fresh inside sometimes. Everyone that's tried it so far has enjoyed the sweet flavor. If you're looking for something a little different than your normal honey then this might be be a good choice.

This is the real deal: raw, unfiltered, certified organic Sardinian honey. It's one of the better honeys I have tried. The orange blossom honey is fragrant, has a nice depth of flavor, and is not too sweet. It is a relatively light colored honey, so the flavor is not as rich and intense as darker honeys - but it's still very good. Personally, I would opt for the darkest honey possible as these taste the most medicinal to me. For the Sardinian honeys, I believe that would be the blackberry honey, but this orange blossom honey is probably the best I've ever tried.I really like that this is certified organic, and you get a beautiful little booklet that talks about the honey and the beekeeping practices. This honey would make the perfect gift for anyone that is a fan of gourmet local/artisan products. It's also a true "Blue Zone" product, as honey plays a significant role in the Sardinian diet. If you want to experience true, organic, healthy Sardinian honey - this is a fantastic option.
